I am a Brazilian screenwriter, director and script consultant, living in Portugal but in constant connection with my home country. My second feature film as a writer, The Last Summer, is currently in production after being selected for the Script Station at Berlinale 2023. My first feature as a writer, Mosquito, was the opening film at the Rotterdam International FF and won the Critics Prize at the São Paulo International FF. I have been developing, writing and directing projects for TV, streaming and cinema, series and features, documentaries and fiction and some of my work have received awards and nominations at the Brazilian Cinema Academy, Portuguese Cinema Academy, New York TV&Film Festival, Hollywood Woman’s Film Festival, among others. I am part of the ScriptLab 2023 at the Torino Film Lab as a Story Editor. As a script consultant I have worked for Cabíria Festival, Projeto Paradiso and also as mentor and creator of IndieLab, a project development workshop at the IndieLisboa Film Festival. I am a co-founder of MUTIM, the women in film association in Portugal. But from all the above, I am first and foremost, a mother. And an amateur percussionist.
