Indywood Film Carnival is the ultimate film carnival in the world which celebrates the very best of World cinema. Organized under the patronage of Chief Minister of Telengana, K. Chandrashekar Rao, at the world’s largest integrated film studio – Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, the film carnival attracts over 2000 delegates and 20,000 footfalls from over 75 countries, film industry professionals and business heads, entrepreneurs, film journalists, media experts, industry aspirants and thousands of film enthusiasts from all corners of the world.

PLOT – Professional Script Lab brought its expertise for a very special two-day residential basis edition as part of Indywood Film Carnival 2016 program!

Filmmakers from all over the world had the chance to broaden their narrative skills and enhance their creative voice. Luis Campos, PLOT founder & main creative director, provided guidance throughout the workshop and challenged the participants with the goal of reaching their projects artistic and creative potential.

Born in Portugal during the prolific Hollywood blockbuster era of 1985, Luis Campos concluded a MA in Film in 2008 and since then he collected several experiences in filmmaking, while living in Barcelona, London and Amsterdam. Owner and main producer of the company Squatter Factory, where he develops most of his film projects, Luis also had the chance to develop an internship under the Erasmus for Entrepreneurs Program in 2013 at Savage Film and another one under the EU Brazil Connect in 2015 at RT Features, where he played an active role in project development.

Luis wrote & directed several awarded short films and was also the screenwriter for the feature “A Funeral in The Rain”, the Portuguese indie hit of 2010. He currently lectures film at SAE Institute Amsterdam and is the main promoter/creative director of GUIÕES – International Portuguese Language Screenplay Festival and PLOT – Professional Script Lab. He was recently invited as an international consultant for Curitiba_Lab 2015, where he provided guidance to a slate of promising Brazilian film projects, and part of the jury of FRAPA 2016 – the greatest South-American screenplay festival.
